Tricia Weener is a visionary business leader, with 30 years’ experience in global organizations, alongside fast growth start-ups. Most recently she was Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), EVP, Marketing & Comms at KONE, a global leader in the elevator & escalator industry. Prior to this, she was Global CMO, Managing Director, Business Marketing at HSBC, the world’s leading international bank where she spent 11 years working in numerous roles across the UK & Europe, as well as in global roles in HK.
She is a Fellow and Global Ambassador of the Marketing Society, as well as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Her 30-year career includes her founding and running her own successful creative services agency, as well as working in senior leadership roles in B2B and B2C marketing in sectors including: financial services, retail, luxury goods, drinks, FMCG, travel, sport and industrial, working in and across Asia, EMEA and the America’s.
Tricia is currently advising Globacap (Private Markets Fintech scale-up) on their marketing, brand & comms, is a shareholder and advisor to TTB Sport X (purpose-led global events & experiences business), and recently completed the Imperial College London, Sustainability Leadership programme with distinction.
She currently lives in Dubai, having spent the previous 3 years in the Nordics and before that over 7 years in Hong Kong. Prior to this she was based in the UK. She is highly curious, gets energy from experiencing new cultures and learning new things. Tricia loves to travel, works out regularly, enjoys film and the theatre, as well as spending time with her family, friends and two dogs. She’s also a self-confessed foodie!
